Friends, family and vacationers from both our places joined together for happy hour at Snooks Bayside. What a fun time.
This is a bit like 'ships passing in the day'. One vacationer arriving and one leaving- with their respective boats in tow! We had a good time helping Greg launch his sailboat for her maiden voyage. It was a regatta of sorts! The sailboat and two kayaks playing in the bay - Blue Keys & Sun Bay Haven's backyard.
The weather....in the Keys is it so beautiful- and the weather in February was so cold up north, it prompted me to bring my Mom down for a visit. My Mom's presence and the weather contributed to one of our vacation renters to bring his Mother down too! We had such a good time with the 'moms'.

This is about a 700 year old brain coral- perfectly round. Unfortunately, at some point in its life, it was hit and broke the top off. The coral reef is something not to miss!
We have had many guests that come for kayaking in the bay among the mangroves.
The roots of the mangroves and the reflection of the water create an amazing array of optical illusions!
